Ma’a pound

BARK’s first attempt at changing the conditions of Ma’a City Pound was very straightforward: Start feeding the starving residents. We are grateful to Handyman for donating 200+ kilograms of Bow Wow Dog Chow. Below are some pictures of day number one (January 24th) of the mass feedings.

Days 2 and 3: Installation of permanent feed bowls. The government has no budget to put makeshift containers like these into cages, let alone fill them with dog food.

Day 4: The City Veterinarian’s Office no longer allows BARK to take pictures in the pound. The feedings will continue.

Day 7: More pictures of the inmates.
